We are on the lookout for a dynamic Senior Sales and Client Manager to contribute to our fast-growing team. This job involves building Cooper’s pipeline with viable leads in the Private Equity sector, leveraging your strong network. As a key player, you will manage outreach, lead qualifications, demos, client pitches, and successfully closing for your own pipeline leads.

Responsibilities:

  • Build Cooper’s pipeline with viable leads focused in appropriate Private Equity environments via your strong network
  • Manage outreach, lead qualification, demos, client pitches, and ultimately successful closings for your pipeline leads.
  • Collaborate with our Director of Marketing to produce compelling messaging for effective market penetration
  • Understand Cooper’s value proposition and have personally experienced the pain points of decision fatigue, data overload, and operational pressures from trying to manage limited resources (time, talent, money)
  • Be able to clearly articulate Cooper’s value as a software with a service component
  • Educate, explain, and motivate business leaders that are interested in data-driven decision-making, and AI-driven operational excellence on how data automation and AI can help transform their current enterprise
  • Be the account owner and client success manager of their Private Equity clients throughout the client life cycle

Qualifications:

  • Senior-level experience in Private Equity or Private Equity Services with a strong network
  • Operational improvement experience
  • Demonstrated success in managing the client life cycle.
  • Understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Decision Intelligence, and operations pressures within enterprise settings.
  • Have a strong network in Private Equity

As our Principal Engineer, you will be instrumental in supporting a web-based application, leading the design and scaling of continuous data ingestion models, modernizing and extending existing data pipelines, and integrating, training, and deploying state-of-the-art AI models. This role offers the exciting opportunity to tackle complex technical challenges, spearhead innovation, and collaborate closely with a highly skilled team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the backend engineering team.
  • Drive the development and implementation of best practices, coding standards, and architectural principles.
  • Architect scalable and high-performance backend systems that meet current and future business needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust, efficient, and maintainable solutions.
  • Conduct regular code reviews to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
  • Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Optimize existing backend systems for performance, scalability, and efficiency.
  • Implement and advocate for best practices in scaling backend infrastructure.
  • Collaborate effectively with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver optimal solutions.
  • Communicate technical concepts and decisions to both technical and non-technical team members.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and research to enhance our backend systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10 years minimum of experience in backend engineering, with a proven track record of designing and implementing complex systems.
  • Expertise in backend technologies such as Python, Java, etc
  • Strong focus on AWS (e.g. lambdas, step functions, RDS) required & experience with Databricks.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform).
  • Experience building data lakes & data warehouses.
  • Experience working with a business operational/financial tool required.
  • Experience as a lead engineer in a start-up environment is highly desired.
  • Leadership experience, including mentoring, coaching, and guiding engineering teams.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
